El 22 de Diciembre del año 2000, Madonna contrajo nupcias por segunda vez, en esta oportunidad con el director de cine británico Guy Ritchie, en una ceremonia realizada en el castillo de Skibo en Escocia donde celebraron con sus familiares y amigos más cercanos. Por tal motivo el Diario Panorama publicó días antes una infografía para reseñar este acontecimiento.
"I got married for all the wrong reasons. When my husband didn't turn out to be everything I'd imagined he'd be, I wanted to end everything.

Esas fueron las palabras de Madonna sobre Guy en el documental "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" y a pesar de parecer una pareja de cuento de hadas, el amor se acabo y luego de 8 años culminó en divorcio, pero todo indica que llevan una relación de amistad, todo por el bien de los hijos que tienen en común.
